As we were staying in Vigo just to visit Cies Islands, hotel location was great - few minutes from the port. Although personal do not talk english very good, they still were trying very hard to explain things we asked. Room was not very big, but clean and nice.
Air conditioning was not working, therefore it was quite hot in the room
Service was great, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect if you're walking around town. Clean, spacious. Definitely recommend!
I really liked the hotel "personality". It is not fancy but has a very warm atmosphere. The kindess with which we were welcomed with by the staff at the reception seemed nataural, not learned in "how to treat guests manual". Location of the hotel is great. And the value for money is excellent. We usually have to pay two rooms since our children are teenagers but here we paid for the price od a double a big room that fit the four of us. No doubt I will go back to Vigo and to Hotel del Mar.
Excellent location just round the corner from the Paseo in front of the habour Most hotels around were much more expensive it was a good find. Loads of restaurants very close by.
The room was a good size but had no view. We were on the fifth floor but there was a lift obviously. I wonder if because we get cheap rooms with Booked.net we get inferior rooms We have often been on the higher floors.
Room very clean & comfortable apart from the Spanish pillows. Very limited availability of food but plenty in the neighbourhood. Friendly staff. I'll use this hotel on the next trip. Good location.
No car parking available at the hotel. Car park 100m away €15.00 per night.
A fairly basic hotel but excellant value for money. The location was perfect for my stay. Good free WiFi. There was no problem when I asked to change to a room with an external view.
It is well located near the port.
The room was not clean. There was dirt on the floor, especially in the corners of the room. The mirror was dirty. There was residue from someone else´s soap in the bath. There was also specks of dirt on the sheet of one of the beds and on the matress. There was no natural light in the room and the matresses were poor quality and not comfortable. The shower attachment would not stay in place when having a shower. There was very little choice at breakfast. Guests had to cut their bread and there was no cloth to stop everyone touching the loaf of bread as they cut it. One woman remarked on the lack of choice and the lady working in the breakfast room begrudgingly brought her a plate of hame and cheese. Very poor value for money. Don´t stay here!
Great location and a friendly overall atmosphere. Great value. Simple and straightforward room and place to stay.
Could have had more light in the bathroom. Some of the walls and doors seemed thin but noise was not a problem (perhaps because few were staying during the week I was there).
We enjoyed being close the water front, shopping and resturants. The room had great AC.
Not much of a breakfast.
It was very clean, its location and the fact that the staff was very kind. Excellent price-service relation.
I didn't asked for the breakfast. Too expensive. There's a bar just under the building much cheaper.
check in so late but It is ok
In the center of the city. Nearby lots of bars and restaurants. Because i am a wheelchairuser, Very good neighbourhood. Streets are plane.
It says it has rooms for persons with a disability. Whel the room was accessible, but because i am paralised an can't walk, to shower was a bit of a problem.
This hotel is a perfect location, not very large, but comfortable rooms... and excellent service.
The location is excellent with nice bars and restaurants nearby. The staff is very nice and helpful
I was missing internet in my room
Well everything but most of all the staff all of whom were friendly, courteous and very helpful and warm. We were very impressed with the room which for the price in such a good location was extremely well fitted out and the third bed actually had a room of its own which was wonderful as we had an adult daughter with us. The bathroom was spotless and had everything you would normally expect to get in a 3 to 4 star hotel, including hair dryer. The beds were comfortable and it was a nice quiet room too. Breakfast was lovely and we thought the whole package was very econominical and great value for money. We were very impressed with our stay in the Sao Jose and would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone going to Oporto.
